Bring your Garden Inside

There’s no longer any need to battle the elements just because you want a nice vegetable garden. And if you live in Wisconsin or another state where winter is the longest season of your life, this is particularly good news.

Lights, Water, Action

One of the coolest but strangest parts of hydroponics gardening is that there’s no need for soil. Yes you read that correctly. No dirt. You’ll still need light, plenty of it; carefully balanced PH levels; water; the proper nutrients and an abundance of humidity (but not so much as to encourage the growth of mold). It’s a slippery little slope at first but once you catch on you’ll wonder why you ever gardened outdoors. There are those in fact that even have the entire process automated. They set it up, let it do its thing and enjoy the results.

Of course you have to check on it every now and then just to make sure everything is working properly, but it’s still a far cry from the constant weeding and watering and pruning and ugh(!) of a regular outdoor garden. It’s simply perfect for those who don’t have the room out of doors or the perfect growing weather for their vegetable gardens.

I Kill Everything I Touch

Vegetables of course aren’t the only thing you can grow. Fruits and flowers are popular choices as well. So you weren’t blessed with a green thumb, eh? In that case, hydroponic gardening is perfect for you. First of all, everybody’s doing it so you should be able to find a font of information just by asking around or on the Internet. In addition, you can buy a ready made kit that will get you all setup and on your way.

They can’t make it any easier than that unless they come to your house and do it for you.
